Small branch offices have the same administrative

support. No servers are deployed in the branch office
and employees connect to a server at the head office
to access shared company data, email and Web. The
branch office has a broadband Internet connection
protected by a hardware firewall for site-to-site VPN.
Typical challenges
•IT personnel: In case of IT problems that need
immediate attention, there is no local support or
onsite IT assistance at the branch offices. This affects
productivity and customer service.
•WAN speed: Slow access to the head offices’ file
shares affect productivity. Employees face login
