Component Function
Microphone jack Connects a single sound
channel microphone.
Stereo line-in jack Connects a CD player, tuner, or
tape deck.
Stereo speaker/headphone
jack
Connects stereo speakers,
headphones, headset, or television
audio.
Battery bay Holds the primary battery pack.
Top MultiBay* Supports a12.7-mm Armada drive
other than a diskette drive.
Bottom MultiBay* Supports a 12.7-mm Armada drive or
a MultiBay battery pack.
*The Dual MultiBay, which comprises both the top and bottom
MultiBays, supports devices, such as a 17-mm Armada hard drive or a
Dual-MultiBay battery pack, which fill both the top and bottom MultiBays.
