• OpenVMS Concurrent Use licenses provide the right to interactively use the operating system by the specified
number of concurrent users on a designated OpenVMS system. OpenVMS Concurrent Use licenses can be
moved from one system to another at user discretion and can be shared in a mixed OpenVMS VAX and
OpenVMS Alpha cluster.
• OpenVMS Traditional Unlimited Use license is system specific and can only be used on one single system at a
time. It cannot be shared between systems or in an OpenVMS VAX or OpenVMS Alpha Cluster.
