Step 2b − SCSI Ports
• Two SCSI ports mandatory to support internal storage
• Internal removable media devices are supported on KZPCM-DA and KZPBA-CA adapters only; internal
removable media devices are not supported on KZPAC-AA/CA/CB RAID controllers.
• Internal StorageWorks 7-disk shelf requires one SCSI port when configured in single-bus mode; to configure disk
shelf in split-bus mode, one additional SCSI port is required.
• System includes SCSI cable(s) to connect SCSI adapters/controllers to internal storage.
• The two SCSI ports requirement can be fulfilled by ordering:
One KZPCM-DA 2-port adapter, or two KZPBA-CA 1-port adapters, or one KZPBA-CA 1-port adapter and one
KZPAC-AA/CA/CB UltraSCSI RAID controller.
