Installing the Rackmount Server
Introduction
There are two rack types that the AlphaServer DS20E may be installed into:
the H9A10 or H9A15 rack. This chapter discusses both racks.
This chapter provides installation procedures for setting up your rack
mountable server. The following is an overview of the contents of this
chapter.
■ Shipment box
■ Power requirements
■ Marking the rack installation area
■ Preparing the rackmount system
CAUTION: Because of heavy lifting and maneuvering involved, two people are
needed to handle the installation. A single person should NOT attempt to install
the system.
