Reinstalling or Updating Drivers
(Windows 2000 Professional)
IMPORTANT:
To uninstall or reinstall modem or LAN drivers in
Windows 2000 Professional, you must log in to Windows 2000
Professional with Administrator privileges.
To update or reinstall modem and LAN drivers:
■
First, uninstall the currently loaded modem drivers.
■
Second, install or restore the LAN drivers.
■
Third, install or restore the modem drivers.
Uninstalling Modem Drivers
(Windows 2000 Professional)
1. Select Start
!
Settings
!
Control Panel. Double-click
Add/Remove Programs, then select the Change or Remove
Programs icon.
2. Select Compaq 56K (V.90) Mini PCI from the list of
programs.
3. Select the Change/Remove button.
4. Select the Yes button to confirm the removal.
5. If you are prompted to restart the computer, select the
No button.
