Indication or Explanation of Use

Power LED ON Illuminates green to indicate unit is ON.

OFF Unit is OFF or there is a power failure.

See Chapter 3, “Troubleshooting,” for

troubleshooting suggestion.

Fault LED ON Hub is running a self test. If LED remains

on longer than 60 seconds, indicates unit

failure. See Chapter 3,

“Troubleshooting,” for troubleshooting

suggestions.

OFF No faults detected.

Reset Button Press to run self test or to reset the hub.

GBIC LED (typical LED for

all 12 ports)

ON Illuminates green when a GBIC Module is

present. See Chapter 3,

“Troubleshooting,” for troubleshooting

suggestions.

OFF GBIC Module is not present or port is not

functioning properly.

Bypass Port LED (typical

LED for all 12 ports)

ON Port is bypassed. Illuminates amber

when a connected port is not

participating in a loop operation. Refer to

Chapter 3, “Troubleshooting,” for

troubleshooting suggestions.

OFF Port is not bypassed.

AC Power Connector 100 - 240 VRMS @ 50 - 60 Hz line
